Tiiu Loigu is the Head of Casting at Tiki Tāne Pictures and has crafted a diversified presence within the entertainment industry. Most recently, Tiiu cast and produced Long Shadows, an American Western, for Tiki Tāne Pictures. She also cast the award-winning short film The Empty Chair and nine feature films, including Frank & Penelope, The Queen Mary, Home by Spring, along with the award-winning short film Common Threads, directed by William Shockley. Tiiu has cast Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated actor Eric Roberts, Emmy Award-winner Kevin Dillon, and Grammy Award-winner Kix Brooks.
Tiiu also produced Common Threads and was associate producer on Far Haven, Mermaid’s Tale, and Home by Spring. She was costume designer on Love by Drowning and Mermaid’s Tale as well as costume supervisor on Home by Spring and set costumer on Christmas At Graceland.
Her passion for photography has led her to be set photographer on seven films and two music videos, with her photography appearing in Vanity Fair, Deadline, Rolling Stone ‘Country’, CMT, The Boot and Fox News.
Tiiu prides herself on her hard-work ethic and being an active woman in film, striving to inspire and support women all over the world to continue to follow their bliss as an artist in the entertainment industry and encourage them to chase their dreams.
Tiiu Loigu will appear with Long Shadows at 7 pm Saturday, July 26 in the Plaza Theatre.
