Scott McGee Scott McGee is the senior director of Original Programming at Turner Classic Movies. He programs the TCM Classic Film Festival and the TCM Classic Cruise and produces and hosts live events for both.
He has served as a featured speaker at the George Eastman Museum, the Atlanta Film Festival, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, the Rancho Mirage Writer’s Festival, the Sag Harbor Preservation Festival, and the Plaza Classic Film Festival.
He is the author of a history of movie stuntwork Danger on the Silver Screen: 50 Films Celebrating Cinema’s Greatest Stunts. He and his family live in Marietta, Georgia. So there.
Scott McGee will introduce several movies and will conduct on-stage interviews with Mira Sorvino before Mighty Aphrodite at 7 pm Friday, July 19 and Sissy Spacek before Coal Miner’s Daughter at 7 pm Saturday, July 27 in the Plaza Theatre.
