Welcome to Disney’s Zootopia, an imaginative land where animals peacefully co-exist, be it predator or prey. Determined to make a name for herself, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Judy Hopps (Ginner Goodwin) graduates from the police academy and embarks on a career to uphold justice. Hopps’ pride as one of Zootopia’s finest is challenged, though, when she ultimately partners with sly fox Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) to expose a major threat to the city. The film’s message is pertinent in today as Hopps and Wilde learn not to judge others by their appearances. Major celebrities lend their voices to this menagerie, including Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, and Shakira, whose gazelle doppelganger closes the film with a concert that will make you want to dance out of your seat.
