Inspired by the new Film and Multimedia Production Certificate launching this fall at El Paso Community College, the next generation of border filmmakers will present their work at this inaugural student film showcase featuring work by El Paso Community College and University of Texas at El Paso student filmmakers. The new program features award-winning student works from film festivals held on both institutions’ campuses, curated into an 80-minute program and complemented by a conversation with faculty and students after the program. This is the first in what we hope will become an annual Plaza Classic tradition. — Lisa Elliott
