It’s a Three Stooges trifecta as Curly, Larry and Moe poke, pinch, pull, and punch their ways through a program of three comedy shorts, all of which have music tracks and feature no live accompaniment. First up is Men in Black (1934, 18 minutes) in which the incompetent trio play doctors on the loose in a big hospital. In Violent Is the Word for Curly (1938, 18 minutes), which was directed by Charley Chase, the trio are mistaken for three German scholars at a university. You can imagine how that goes. We close with You Nazty Spy! (1940, 18 minutes) in which wallpaper hangar Moe is recruited to become dictator of the country of Moronica, with Curly and Larry by his side. — Doug Pullen
