Our fourth annual dinner-and-a-movie celebrates love, love between a world famous actress (Julia Roberts) and a humble travel bookstore operator (Hugh Grant). That’s right, we’re showing Notting Hill, that 1999 charmer from the pen of Richard Curtis (Love, Actually). This year’s themed dinner is called the I’m Just a Girl Dinner, inspired by a pivotal scene in the book shop. The dinner will be from 5-6:30 pm Monday, July 21 in the Foundation Room, 333 N. Oregon, less than a block from the Plaza Theatre entrance. Seating will be family style. The set menu by Chef Omar Carranza will be inspired by the movie and will include fish and chips, Beef Wellington, salad, vegetables and dessert. The movie is at 7 pm Monday, July 21 at the Plaza Theatre. THE DINNER IS SOLD OUT! The I’m Just a Girl Dinner is generously sponsored by GECU.
