Disney’s 53rd animated feature film was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen.” It won Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Song, the ubiquitous “Let It Go,” and is the highest grossing animated movie of all time. Its timeless story about family bonds focuses on two sisters, Princess Elsa, who withdraws from her younger sister, Anna, after accidentally injuring her younger sibling with her magic. It’s a fast-paced, cleverly written and beautifully song musical for kids of all ages, and a fitting way to wind down the third annual WinterFest. “Frozen 2” will be released November 22, 2019.

Note: Laurie Koval will perform on the Plaza Theatre’s 88-year-old Wyler Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ from 12:30-1 p.m.
