Jewel theft was seldom more glamorous than in this caper classic from the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. Cary Grant plays John Robie, a former jewel thief now quietly living incognito on the French Riviera (what a hardship) and gets wind of another mass jewelry heist being planned. John sees stopping this heist as his last opportunity to clear his name. Grace Kelly is the beautiful daughter of one of the prospective jewelry owners who discovers Grant’s identity and decides to help him clear his name. If these two beautiful stars aren’t enough (they totally are), the film was shot on location in the South of France with Oscar-winning cinematography by Robert Burks.
