Bob Hope and Bing Crosby’s classic “Road” pictures were some of the most popular comedy series of the 1940s. For this comic adventure, Crosby and Hope are Duke and Chester, two failing entertainers who decide to head north to Alaska to discover the treasure on the map they have just found. Unfortunately for them, the map belonged to two wicked killers (Robert Barrat and Nestor Paiva) who will stop at nothing to get there first.
