When the bookstore where she works is commandeered for a fashion magazine photo shoot, Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn) is thrust into the world of models and high fashion. Photographer Dick Avery (Fed Astaire) spots something special and unique in her photo. Jo agrees to be part of a photo shoot and major fashion campaign when she learns it is to be shot in Paris, the home of a philosopher she has been anxious to meet. Through the streets and cafes of Paris, the relationship between Jo and Dick blossoms from friendship into love, though neither is ready to acknowledge their feelings in this classic musical from the master, Stanley Donen. — Erin Ritter
