In this slim romantic comedy drama from director Jack Arnold (Creature from the Black Lagoon), daredevil pilot Mike Dandridge (Jeff Chandler) starts an airplane ferry service — they fly plans to their new owners — with former Air Force buddy Al Reynolds (Richard Denning). A bit of a lady’s man, he does not expect to fall for Al’s girlfriend, fellow pilot Maggie Colby (Lana Turner), much less marry her. The tug of adventure, and the attention of another woman, cause problems in the marriage. Will he straighten up and fly right? Note of interest: The flamenco dancers in the bar scene are Antonio and Rita Triana, who later moved to El Paso, started a dance school and troupe, and started a family, including daughter Felipa Solis of El Paso Pro-Musica. — Doug Pullen
