The International Bar is the setting for our first Plaza Classic Film Festival Screenwriting Competition Pitch Fest! The top 10 finalists from this year’s screenwriting contest will compete for prizes in a verbal slugfest. Judge Hector Gallardo of Subharmonic City Productions will award a first place prize worth $300 and the audience will choose a runner-up by applause. The winner receives $300 towards the creation of a short film based on their screenplay. A bucket will be passed around for donations for the runner-up. The fun takes place at the rooftop of the International (INTL) Bar at 114A E. Mills Ave. Admission is free, there is a cash bar, but the experience is priceless!
