A trio of fired university parapsychologists (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Harold Ramis) launch a business dedicated to ridding New York City of the ever-increasing presence of ghosts. Customer Dana Barret (Sigourney Weaver) leads them to her building, which is heavy with paranormal activity that ultimately possesses her and a neighbor (Rick Moranis). It was a blockbuster summer hit, spawned a hit single, and introduced the question “Who you gonna call?” to the vernacular.
